CD Projekt Red updates Cyberpunk 2077
CD Projekt Red has released a major update for Cyberpunk 2077, bringing the game to version 2.5 and introducing free content inspired by The Witcher 3. The update includes a new quest and an outfit consisting of five items partly inspired by the Witchers, including two weapons: a vest inspired by the armor of the Bear School, pants also inspired by the Bear School, Professor Sihil's glasses, a dwarf sword, and a hunting knife. These items are a tribute to the popular The Witcher 3 game, which is also developed by CD Projekt Red.How to access the free content
To obtain the free content, players must first update their game to version 2.5 on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, or Nintendo Switch. Once updated, players need to complete one of the new quests included in the 2.5 update. After completing the quest, players will receive an SMS from a character named Ariadne, who teases them with the reward of new clothes and equipment in Night City, including the free content from The Witcher 3.Finding the free package
After receiving the message, players should wait for Ariadne to send a second message announcing that a free package has been delivered to their first home. If players have moved since the beginning of the game, they should return to the Megabuilding H10, where they first started playing Cyberpunk 2077. They then need to go to the entrance door of the apartment and check a hiding place on the left side, where the package has been deposited. Opening the package will grant the free The Witcher 3 content. If players do not receive the second message, they should check that they have completed a 2.5 quest and allow some time to pass in the game or advance the clock directly.
