One year ago, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S11 series, which includes the larger Ultra model and the more affordable standard S11. The Galaxy Tab S11 is praised for its large 120 Hz screen and long battery life. Even though Samsung is set to announce the next generation, the Galaxy Tab S11 remains a strong option, especially now that its price has dropped below 600 euros. This could be the last chance for some time to purchase a traditional Galaxy Tab S tablet, as reports suggest Samsung may skip the standard Galaxy Tab S12 model. The Galaxy Tab S11 is equipped with an 11-inch AMOLED display that has a high WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate, which means smooth scrolling and video playback. It also includes Galaxy AI features, which enhance tasks like searching, note-taking, and photo editing, and it has an 8,400 mAh battery for long-lasting use. While the official Samsung website lists it at 999 euros, it is currently available for 749.99 euros at stores like Darty and Fnac. Additionally, a 150 euro discount is available until October 4, 2026, bringing the price down to 599.99 euros. The Galaxy Tab S11 has compact dimensions of 165.3 x 253.8 x 5.5 mm and weighs 469 grams, making it lighter and more manageable than the Ultra version. It has a sleek, premium design with thin bezels and flat edges, and it is IP68 certified, which means it is resistant to dust and water splashes. The tablet runs on Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8, offering a smooth and user-friendly experience. It also comes with a seven-year software update guarantee, ensuring long-term support and security. Inside, the Galaxy Tab S11 is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 9400 processor, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2 TB using a microSD card. It supports fast charging up to 45 W, and with the optional Book Cover keyboard, it can be turned into a portable mini PC. This allows users to access Samsung DeX, a feature that transforms the tablet into a desktop-like interface, making it more suitable for productivity tasks.
