For those looking for an action camera, the sensor quality is just one part of the equation. Features like stabilization, framing capabilities, and water resistance are also crucial, especially when capturing footage in dynamic or unpredictable environments. The DJI Osmo Action 6 is a compact camera that combines these elements, offering high-resolution video and multiple stabilization modes. It is currently available at a discounted price on AliExpress, with a final cost of 356.68 € after a 30 € promotional coupon is applied. This price is lower than its original 421.72 €, making it a more affordable option for those interested in high-quality action videography. The DJI Osmo Action 6 is equipped with a 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensor and a variable aperture lens that ranges from f/2.0 to f/4.0. This setup allows the camera to adapt to various lighting conditions, ensuring clear and well-exposed footage. Its 155° field of view makes it ideal for capturing wide scenes, especially during sports or when exploring new environments. On the video front, the camera can record in 8K resolution at 30 frames per second, and it also supports 4K at 120 frames per second in certain formats. This high frame rate capability allows for detailed slow-motion footage, which is particularly useful in action or sports scenarios. The DJI Osmo Action 6 includes advanced stabilization technologies such as RockSteady 3.0 and RockSteady 3.0+, which help reduce shake and produce smoother video. Additional features like HorizonSteady and HorizonBalancing provide horizon corrections, ensuring that footage remains level even when the camera is moving. These features collectively help produce clear, usable footage without requiring the user to make significant adjustments. Weighing only 149 grams, the DJI Osmo Action 6 is lightweight and easy to carry, making it suitable for outdoor activities and underwater filming. It features two touchscreens: a 1.46-inch front screen for framing during vlogs and a 2.5-inch rear screen for controlling the shots. The camera is waterproof up to 20 meters without a housing, and with the right waterproof housing, it can go as deep as 60 meters. It also comes with 64 GB of built-in storage, with about 50 GB available for files, and supports microSD cards up to 1 TB, allowing for easy expansion of storage capacity. This makes it a versatile option for users who want to start filming immediately without needing an extra memory card.
