The Hisense C2 Ultra 5-star projector is currently available for 1,899 euros at several online retailers, including Fnac.com, Boulanger.com, Darty.com, Son-Video.com, and Cdiscount Marketplace. It has been recognized as one of the top performers in recent comparisons, offering a range of upgrades over its predecessor, the well-received Hisense C1. The C2 Ultra features a swivel stand that makes setup more flexible, a much brighter image, and an improved audio system designed to deliver a cinema-like experience at home. These upgrades make it a strong contender for those looking for high-quality home theater equipment. In terms of image quality, the Hisense C2 Ultra excels with impressive brightness levels, which are especially useful in rooms with ambient light. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, two advanced formats that enhance color and contrast in compatible content. The projector also offers excellent coverage of color spaces, ensuring accurate and vibrant visuals. Its audio system, while not the most powerful on the market, is integrated and provides a decent surround sound experience without the need for external speakers. Despite its strengths, the Hisense C2 Ultra has some limitations. Its contrast levels are not as strong as some competitors, which can affect the depth of dark scenes in movies or games. However, these drawbacks are minor compared to the overall performance, making it a top choice for movie lovers and serious users who demand high-quality visuals and flexibility in setup. The projector also includes a complete Vidaa interface, which offers a range of streaming and smart features. An alternative to the Hisense C2 Ultra is the Valerion Vision Master Pro 2, a 4K trilaser projector that uses three laser light sources to achieve high brightness and color accuracy. It features an impressive contrast adjustment system called EBL, which enhances the depth and detail in images. The Valerion also includes a smooth Google TV interface and excellent gaming performance, making it a strong competitor in the market. While its color accuracy may need some calibration out of the box, it still meets the needs of cinephiles and gamers who want a premium large-screen experience. Both the Hisense C2 Ultra and the Valerion Vision Master Pro 2 are leading choices for those seeking top-tier projectors in 2025.
