Steam free games nearing expiration

Only a few hours remain to access the free games and content currently available on Steam, as most weekend offers will end on October 19, 2026, at 7 p.m. Some content will stay available slightly longer, with one DLC offer expiring on October 25, 2026, at the same time.

Three free games available for trial

Three free games are still available for trial on Steam: Battlefield 6, Ravenswatch, and Stranded Deep. Each of these titles can be accessed until October 19, 2026, at 7 p.m., after which they will no longer be available for free.

Battlefield 6 details

Battlefield 6, developed by Battlefield Studios and published by Electronic Arts, was released in 2025. It includes 19 multiplayer maps, two of which are new: Vegas Strip and Area 51. To take advantage of the new Season 5, players must download Battlefield REDSEC, a free-to-play component of the game.

Ravenswatch details

Ravenswatch, developed by Passtech Games and published by Nacon, was released in 2024. It is a co-op rogue-lite hack and slash game featuring characters from dark fantasy stories, such as Little Red Riding Hood and Beowulf. Players can fight in a corrupted world either alone or with friends.

Stranded Deep details

Stranded Deep, developed and published by Beam Team Games, was released in 2022. It puts players in the role of someone stranded in the Pacific Ocean after a plane crash. The game features an infinite world with challenges both on land and at sea.

Additional free content available

Steam is also offering free content for two other titles. Big Catch, a fishing-related addition to Voidtrain, a survival game set on a flying train, can be claimed until October 19, 2026, at 7 p.m.

DLC offer extends further

A weapon skin pack for Squad, a realistic multiplayer first-person shooter, includes woodland camouflage versions for five weapons from the USM faction. This content can be retrieved until October 25, 2026, at 7 p.m., making it the longest-lasting free offer among the current promotions.
