The Sony WH-1000XM6, recently named the best Bluetooth headphones in a comprehensive comparison, is now available on AliExpress at a significant discount. The headphones, which were released in May 2025, are being sold for €256.05 instead of the original price of €345.06 by using the code FWFR30 during checkout. This price cut is aimed at users such as frequent travelers, commuters, and remote workers who value quiet environments during long periods on trains, airplanes, or in shared office spaces. According to the test results, the Sony WH-1000XM6 earned a score of 9 out of 10. Its noise cancellation feature, powered by the QN3 chip and 12 microphones, is particularly effective at blocking out engine and ventilation noises. The headphones have also seen improvements in comfort, with a wider headband and thicker ear cushions that make them suitable for extended listening sessions. They offer up to 32 hours of playback with noise cancellation on, and just three minutes of charging can provide an additional three hours of use. One of the improvements in this model is the transparency mode, which was previously a drawback. This feature now allows users to hear their surroundings naturally, making it easier to converse without removing the headphones. The multipoint Bluetooth feature lets users switch seamlessly between devices, such as a computer and a smartphone, which is a useful feature for remote workers. Additionally, the LDAC and LE Audio (LC3) codecs are appealing to those who prioritize high-quality audio. While the Sony WH-1000XM6 is available at a discounted price of €256.05 on AliExpress using the code FWFR30, it has a few limitations. The design is mostly plastic and can easily collect dirt. The headphones do not support aptX codecs, and their wired mode is only for emergencies, which might not satisfy audiophiles who prefer a traditional wired connection. Call quality is also reduced in very noisy environments, and the headphones are not waterproof, requiring users to protect them from rain. Before purchasing, users are advised to check the seller's profile and enter the code FWFR30 to ensure they receive the discount. The Sony WH-1000XM6 is considered a top choice in the best Bluetooth headphones comparison, focusing on efficiency rather than materials. However, for those who prefer a premium build, support for aptX codecs, or clear calls in noisy settings, other models might be more suitable.
