Event highlights cultural diversity

The commune of M'Tsangamouji is hosting the second edition of "Ma commune m'anime," a community festival celebrating local culture and traditions, on October 21, 2026, from 12:00 to 18:00 at the Chémbényoumba football field. Organized by the Directorate of Youth, Sports, and Culture (DJSC), the event aims to showcase the region's rich cultural heritage and encourage community engagement.

Activities for all ages

The festival features a variety of activities, including cultural and craft stands, performances by local artists, games, contests, and dance and singing sessions. Workshops on cooking, braiding, language, and craftsmanship will also be available, offering participants opportunities to learn and engage with traditional skills.

Promoting intergenerational bonds

A key goal of the event is to strengthen connections between different generations and residents of surrounding villages through shared activities and the exchange of knowledge. The organizers are relying on local associations, institutional partners, cultural figures, and the general public to make the event a success.

Free entry and community involvement

The event is open to everyone at no cost, and the organizers are encouraging broad participation. For more information, attendees can contact the DJSC by phone at 02 69 62 15 20 or by email at animation@mairiedemtsangamouji.fr.
