DJI Osmo Pocket 4 price drops significantly

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is now available for 332.21 € on AliExpress, using the code CLU60, a significant discount from its original 479 € launch price. This represents a 32% reduction, making it more accessible to a wider audience.

Camera retains core design with new features

The Osmo Pocket 4 continues the series' design, featuring a 1-inch sensor on a three-axis gimbal, all in a compact 190.5 g body. New features include native 10-bit D-Log, 4K slow motion at 240 images per second, and 107 GB of internal storage.

Enhanced performance in dynamic range and slow motion

The native 10-bit D-Log provides 14 stops of dynamic range, allowing the camera to handle backlit scenes without losing detail in highlights. In testing, it outperformed the previous model, which struggled with overexposed areas.

Improved file transfer and tracking capabilities

The USB 3.1 port allows faster file transfers compared to the USB 2.0 of earlier models. The ActiveTrack 7.0 feature keeps the subject in frame during movement and zooms, and the three built-in microphones deliver clearer audio than before.

Battery life and display improvements

The Osmo Pocket 4 offers a 240-minute battery life in 1080p at 24 images per second, a 45% improvement over the previous model. The 2-inch OLED screen reaches 1,000 nits of brightness, making it easier to frame shots in daylight.

Upgrades and limitations for potential buyers

The camera improves in photography, with a jump from 9.4 to 37 megapixels, and gains 4K slow motion at 240 images per second. However, it lacks the rigid case from earlier models and has a 4x zoom that is best suited for social media content.

Price conditions and combo options

The discounted price of 332.21 € is conditional on applying the code CLU60 before finalizing the purchase. At launch, a Creator Combo version was available for 619 €, including a DJI Mic 3 and LED light, but this is no longer offered separately.

Recommendations for different users

For those who do not require advanced editing or fast file transfers, the Osmo Pocket 3 may still be sufficient. However, for users seeking D-Log, 4K slow motion, and reliable tracking in a compact form, the Osmo Pocket 4 is a strong option at the discounted price.
