The Orchestre Pasdeloup is hosting a special concert to honor Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, celebrating the 270th anniversary of his birth. This event will take place with Kyrian Friedenberg, a finalist in the 2025 Besançon competition, conducting, and Yan Mařatka, the orchestra's solo clarinetist. The concert will feature several of Mozart’s most beloved works, including the overture to La Clemenza di Tito, the Clarinet Concerto in A major, and his Symphony No. 41 in C major, famously known as the "Jupiter" Symphony. The program is described as touching, delicate, and sparkling, capturing the lively and profound spirit of Mozart’s music. In addition to the main concert, related events are being organized to celebrate Mozart and other musical themes. The Marsa Trio & Guests will perform at the Jass Club on October 14, offering a mix of Mediterranean dance, chamber music, and improvised flights. This performance will blend traditional styles with creative spontaneity, reflecting the dynamic nature of musical expression. Another event on October 8 will feature the quintet of Apostolos Sideris at the Jass Club, with a program that combines elements of the past with contemporary compositions. This performance aims to bridge musical eras, showing how classical and modern styles can coexist and influence each other. The event highlights the evolving nature of musical art and its ability to connect different periods and styles. From October 21 to 27, the My First Festival 2026 will take place, offering a wide range of experiences for audiences of all ages. The festival will include more than 100 films and 300 sessions, providing a diverse lineup of cultural and artistic events. This festival is designed to introduce younger audiences to various forms of creative expression, ensuring a broad and inclusive celebration of the arts.
