From September 14 to 18, 2026, nine French-based startups raised a total of 42.2 million euros in funding. The majority of this investment—34.5 million euros, or 82%—went to six companies that use artificial intelligence in their products or operations. HomeExchange, a French company, was excluded from the total because the amount of its capital operation was not announced. Similarly, Kaiko, a French company now based in New York, was not included in the French figures for the week due to its current headquarters and differing reports on the funding amount. Hackuity, a startup based in Lyon, raised 16 million euros in a Series B funding round. This round was led by Forgepoint Capital International, with participation from Bright Pixel, Seventure Partners, and Bpifrance. The company plans to use the funds to expand its AI-based remediation capabilities and automate cyber remediation processes. Delos, a Paris-based startup founded in 2023, raised 10 million euros to deploy its AI-driven "digital employees" across various business processes. The funding will support expansion in France and the United States and further specialization of its AI agents. Opio, based in Paris, raised 4 million euros for its AI agents in financial audit, aiming to reduce mission time by 27% and expand internationally. Laboratoires üma, based in Lyon, raised 4 million euros for hormone-free supplements targeting the menopause market. Treewater, also based in Lyon, raised 2 million euros for its industrial water treatment technologies. AbTx, based in Dijon, raised 1.7 million euros for its platform producing miniaturized conjugated antibodies for solid tumors.
