The Xiaomi Pad 8 has seen a price drop, now available at 304.99 euros at Cdiscount, down from its usual price of 349.99 euros. Despite the lower cost, the tablet’s technical specifications remain unchanged, offering a range of features that cater to both casual and more intensive use. This 11.2-inch tablet features a 3:2 screen ratio, a resolution of 3,200 x 2,136 pixels, and a high refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, which ensures a smooth experience whether users are watching videos, browsing the web, working on documents, or using apps. The Dolby Vision compatibility and four speakers with Dolby Atmos support add to the visual and audio experience, making it ideal for entertainment and productivity. The Xiaomi Pad 8 is designed to be portable, with a slim profile of just 5.75 mm and a weight of 485 grams. Its metal chassis houses a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor built on 4 nm technology, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This combination allows for smooth multitasking, web browsing, and even mobile gaming without significant performance issues. The tablet also includes Xiaomi’s HyperOS operating system, which integrates HyperAI functions to enhance user experience, and it is compatible with the Focus Pen Pro, a stylus that can be used for note-taking or creative tasks. The Xiaomi Pad 8 is equipped with a large 9,200 mAh battery, offering long-lasting performance for extended use. It supports fast charging at up to 45 W via USB-C, allowing users to quickly recharge the device. However, the 45 W wall charger is not included in the package, so users may need to purchase it separately. This tablet is a strong contender in the mid-range segment, offering a blend of performance, portability, and multimedia features at an attractive price point.
