SanDisk offers a 128 GB microSDXC card for Chromebook

The SanDisk Ultra 128 GB microSDXC card for Chromebook is available for 24.99 €, according to a report. This price is lower than the recommended retail price of 32.99 €, offering a discount of about 24 percent.

Card features and performance

The card offers up to 140 MB/s read speed, an A1 certification, and includes an SD adapter for compatible readers. It is designed to store documents, photos, or videos on a removable medium, providing additional storage for Chromebook users.

Certification for Chromebook compatibility

This version of the SanDisk Ultra has been tested and certified to work with Chromebook. It allows users to add storage to models equipped with a compatible reader, particularly to keep files accessible offline. However, the nominal capacity is 128 GB, and the actual space available after formatting is lower.

Compatibility beyond Chromebook

The mention of Chromebook does not restrict the card to these computers. It is a microSDXC UHS-I card, usable with other devices supporting this format and capacity. Users should check their device's reader specifications before purchasing, especially for older equipment.

Read speed and adapter included

SanDisk claims a read speed of up to 140 MB/s for this card. However, achieving this speed requires a device compatible with the technology used to exceed the standard UHS-I speed. The card also includes an SD adapter, allowing it to be used in standard SD format readers that support SDXC cards.
