Quality labels ensure authenticity of local products

Terroirs Vagabonds also emphasizes meeting the actors of virtuous and quality production. These labels, such as AOC, AOP, IGP, Label Rouge, and organic agriculture, are obtained through collective and voluntary initiatives by producers who commit to strict production conditions validated by the state and regularly monitored by independent approved organizations.

Additional initiatives promote local agriculture and wine

Additional initiatives include Militant du Goût, which guarantees the origin, quality, and seasonality of products from the Gard; Vignobles et découvertes, which promotes the Costières de Nîmes region; and Bienvenue à la ferme. The final event of Terroirs Vagabonds is scheduled for November 14 in Caveirac and Saint-Dionisy, featuring a walk in Vaunage. Classic bikes or electric-assisted bikes are available, and registration is required through Victor at 06 88 25 00 48 or via email to contact(a)pierrefeuillecigale.com.
