In 2026, more than 1,500 runners are expected to take part in the 11th edition of the urban nature race, known as the TUB. The event, described by organizers as accessible, unusual, and friendly, will start from the Esplanade des Droits de l'Homme, in front of the town hall, and end at the Espace Sportif de la Malcombe. The TUB confirms its presence in the Belfort territory, including a symbolic passage through the Citadel and the "LIP Himalaya" challenge to motivate the fastest runners. The race combines urban and natural elements, offering participants a unique experience through the city's landmarks and green spaces. For 2026, the TUB introduces a third distance, expanding the offering to three routes: 8, 14, and 22 km. This change aims to continue the event's development while maintaining its focus on providing a readable, accessible, and adapted urban trail experience for all runner profiles. The addition of different distances allows participants of various fitness levels and experience to join, making the event more inclusive and appealing to a wider audience. Since its first editions, the TUB has incorporated a solidarity dimension into its sporting project. For the 2026 and 2027 editions, the Club Alpin has partnered with "Revivre par le Sport" to raise awareness about organ donation and promote reintegration through sport. Additionally, the TUB supports Semons l'Espoir with "Les Sommets du Haut Doubs – de la Champagne au Mont d'Or" on September 25, 26, and 27, 2026, offering three days of natural adventure to cancer patients, supervised by the club's volunteers. This partnership highlights the event's commitment to community support and health promotion.
