A teenager was left clinging to the roof of a car after a driver allegedly tried to flee the scene of a hit-and-run in Lower Broughton, Salford, Manchester. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) received calls around 5:40pm on Wednesday (9 September) about a collision between two vehicles, which led to a hit-and-run incident. Dashcam footage captured a Volkswagen Passat speeding through the area with a man on its roof shouting for help. The incident unfolded after two men got out of one of the cars and confronted the driver of the other vehicle following the crash. According to GMP, one of the men involved in the confrontation, who is in his 50s, was struck by the driver and suffered life-changing injuries.
