Oppo has unveiled the Find X10 Pro Max, a new smartphone featuring three 200-megapixel cameras on the back, totaling 600 million pixels before including the front-facing camera. The device was officially launched in China on Tuesday alongside a standard Find X10 and a more affordable Find X10E. This year, the Find X10 Pro and Ultra models are not being released, with the Pro Max now serving as the flagship model. The Find X10 Pro Max is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, which is built on a 2 nm process, making it one of the first Android chips with such advanced precision. The phone includes an 8,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, significantly larger than the 7,500 mAh battery found in the Find X9 Pro and much larger than the 5,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Oppo claims the battery can last eight hours of continuous gaming and maintain its capacity for five years. The device supports fast charging, with 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, as verified by Chinese 3C certification. The camera system of the Find X10 Pro Max includes three 200-megapixel sensors. The wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses have been upgraded to 200 megapixels, while the main sensor is a Samsung HPC with a 1/1.3 inch size, slightly larger than the previous model’s sensor. This increased pixel density allows for 12.5-megapixel images through a process called pixel binning, with the main improvements being in framing and hybrid zoom capabilities. The telephoto lens features an f/2.1 aperture and CIPA 7.5 stabilization, capable of focusing as close as 10 cm, making it suitable for macro photography. Oppo announced a dynamic range of 17 EV, though this is described as a laboratory "up to" figure, and real-world performance remains to be tested. The Dimensity 9600 Pro chip offers 17% more CPU performance compared to the Dimensity 9500 on the Find X9 Pro, 27% better GPU performance during prolonged use, and 61% more energy efficiency in multi-core mode. The architecture uses only large cores, without small low-power cores, which is a departure from many other processors. The price and availability of the Find X10 Pro Max are still unclear. The Find X9 Pro was sold for 1,299 euros in France, and rumors from India suggest the Pro Max could cost around $1,600. The international launch is expected in late October, though some sources suggest a possible delay to January 2027 for Europe. Oppo has not explicitly mentioned France in its current announcements.
