Oppo has launched the Find X10 Pro Max in China, a high-end smartphone featuring a powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, an 8000 mAh battery, and three 200-megapixel camera sensors. The device is expected to be expensive due to ongoing shortages of key components in the global supply chain. Smartphone manufacturers are increasingly moving away from naming their top-tier models as "Ultra" and instead using "Pro Max" to denote their flagship devices. Oppo and Xiaomi are both following this trend with their latest releases. The Find X10 Pro Max aims to outperform conventional smartphones with its advanced specifications. It includes a 6.78-inch OLED display capable of reaching a maximum brightness of 3600 cd/m², which is ideal for viewing content in bright conditions. The Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, developed by MediaTek, is a direct competitor to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series, both of which are manufactured using 2 nm process technology, representing a significant advancement in chip efficiency and performance. One of the standout features of the Find X10 Pro Max is its camera system, which consists of three 200-megapixel sensors. This configuration includes a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens, making it the first smartphone to feature three such high-resolution modules. Previously, the highest-end devices had only two 200 Mpx sensors. The camera system was developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, a brand known for its high-quality imaging technology, and this partnership was inherited from OnePlus, another smartphone manufacturer. The Find X10 Pro Max will soon be available in France, as indicated by the pre-order system on Oppo’s French website. In China, the 12/256 GB version costs 6799 yuan, approximately 890 euros before tax, while the 12/512 GB version is priced at 7499 yuan, or about 982 euros. For comparison, the previous model, the Find X9 Pro, was sold in China for 6299 yuan (around 825 euros) and costs 1299 euros in France.
