Huawei unveils new smartwatches

In September, Huawei introduced five new smartwatches, including the Watch D3 with a blood pressure cuff, the Watch GT 7, and the Watch 6 Pro. These devices aim to expand Huawei's presence in the wearable technology market with advanced health and fitness features.

Watch 6 Pro available at a discount

The Huawei Watch 6 Pro, a high-end model, is currently being sold on Amazon with a 50 euro discount, bringing its price down from 679.99 euros to 629.99 euros. This makes it more accessible to consumers looking for a premium smartwatch.

Advanced display and durability features

The Watch 6 Pro includes a 1.38-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 3500 cd/m², ensuring it remains readable even in full sunlight. It is built with a nano-ceramic case and sapphire glass, offering excellent scratch resistance and durability. It also has 5 ATM and IP69 certifications, making it suitable for water up to 40 meters deep.

Health monitoring capabilities

The Watch 6 Pro uses the X-TAP sensor system, which combines a 12-channel PPG sensor with a pressure sensor. This allows the watch to analyze 11 health indicators across four categories: general health, endocrine health, cardiovascular health, and respiratory health. It can measure heart rate variability, SpO2 levels, and perform electrocardiograms (ECG).

Fitness and training features

The watch offers more than 100 training modes, including cycling, running, skiing, and diving, as well as an Expedition mode and the ability to load routes in advance. It can assess physical recovery in the morning to determine if a user is ready to resume training, making it a valuable tool for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Battery life and charging

The 43 mm model of the Watch 6 Pro offers up to three days of battery life in normal use and up to seven days in power saving mode. It supports wireless charging via the Huawei Watch Wireless SuperCharger (USB-C second generation), allowing a day's use to be restored in 15 minutes of charging.

Cross-platform compatibility

The Watch 6 Pro is compatible with both iOS and Android systems and can pair with two smartphones simultaneously. This flexibility enhances its usability for users who own devices from different operating systems.
