American Express is expanding its **Global Lounge Collection** with the opening of a new **Centurion® Lounge** at Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport on September 17, 2026. This marks the first **Centurion Lounge** in continental Europe and is part of a growing network of 33 such lounges around the world. The new lounge covers an area of 550 square meters and is exclusively available to eligible **American Express** cardholders. It is located between halls E and F at the airport and will be open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM. The design of the lounge reflects elements of Dutch culture and modern architecture, incorporating works by local artists and featuring large glass windows that offer views of the airport and surroundings. Inside, travelers can find a variety of spaces designed for relaxation or work, including free high-speed Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, USB ports, private restrooms, and a dedicated area for phone calls. The lounge also includes a dining area that offers food inspired by the Netherlands, providing a taste of local flavors to visitors. A bar within the lounge serves a wide range of beverages, while the **Blue Roast Coffee Bar** highlights Amsterdam’s thriving coffee culture. This area serves locally sourced coffee, prepared by skilled baristas, offering a unique experience for coffee enthusiasts. The lounge aims to provide a comfortable and culturally rich environment for travelers looking to rest, work, or enjoy a meal before or after their flights. American Express has announced plans to continue expanding its lounge network in the future. New openings are scheduled at Newark Liberty and Boston Logan airports, as well as a **Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge** establishment at Charlotte Douglas Airport. These additions reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel experience for its cardholders worldwide.
