Phantom Blade Zero AR glasses unveiled

Phantom Beast XR, a new line of augmented reality glasses, has been developed by S-GAME and Viture. These glasses are tied to the game Phantom Blade Zero, which is S-GAME's first major production.

Collaboration between S-GAME and Viture

Viture is a Sino-American company founded in 2021 by Gonglue Jian, who previously worked on Google Glass. S-GAME is the studio behind Phantom Blade Zero, a game that is now being used to market the new AR glasses.

Design features of the glasses

The Phantom Beast XR glasses have a sleek metal frame with the insignia of Phantom Blade Zero. They include engravings, color schemes, and design elements directly inspired by the game's universe.

Technical specifications of the glasses

The glasses use Sony's latest Micro-OLED panels, offering a virtual 174-inch screen with 1200 resolution per eye. They support spatial tracking, spatial sound, and a 120 Hz refresh rate, with the ability to switch between display modes like 32:9 ultra-wide.

Compatibility and connectivity

The glasses can be used as a standalone screen with a console or PC, and they are plug-and-play on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Steam via USB-C. For living room consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, a Viture Mini docking station is required.

Packaging and pricing details

The package includes themed items like a replica of the Mó Sanguine blade, a lens cloth, and stickers. The glasses are priced at $599, with pre-orders before November 5 including collectible Phantom Blade Zero cards.
