New instant camera model released

Fujifilm has introduced the Instax mini Evo 2, a new instant camera that combines digital photography with the ability to print physical photos immediately. This model is part of a series of recent updates to the Instax line, including the Pal 2, Link Wide 2 printer, and Square 2 models.

Features of the Instax mini Evo 2

The Instax mini Evo 2 includes a 4.5-inch touchscreen for framing, previewing photos, and adjusting settings. It also features a tool called Instax Expanded View, which shows a wider scene than the actual photo area, helping users compose better shots before taking them.

Video recording and creative options

The camera includes a feature called Instax Immersive Movie, which records four seconds of video before a photo is taken. This allows users to create short animated memories. The camera also offers 10 optical effects and 10 film effects, which can be combined in 100 different ways.

Smartphone integration and price

The Instax mini Evo 2 can print photos taken with a smartphone using the Instax mini Evo app, which allows for remote control of the camera. The device is expected to be available from late November 2026 at a recommended price of around 270 €, an increase from the 200 € price of the 2022 model due to the addition of a touchscreen.
