The event highlighted several major releases, including Until Dawn 2, set for January 28, and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, which will launch on April 8. A trailer was also shown for the Resident Evil movie directed by Zach Cregger, scheduled for September 18, and Marvel's Wolverine, a video game launching on September 15. Among the new content, Ghost of Yōtei introduced a roguelike combat survival mode called Most Wanted, available on October 1. Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance was also announced, with a release expected sometime in 2025. A segment of Metro 2039, running on the PS5 Pro, was shown, with the game set to release on February 4. Meanwhile, Maneater 2, a sequel to the 2020 action RPG, is set to launch next year, and Crimson Desert will get an expansion called Charting the Unknown on October 15. Indie games like Hunter's Moon (October 26) and Uncanyon (next year) were also previewed. Keeper, from Double Fine, is now available on PS5, while Rev.Noir from Konami is set for 2027. Sony also shared updates for several existing titles, including a free update for Saros with new accessibility features and a competitive boss rush mode. Gran Turismo 7 will get a two-part update in October and December. PlayStation Plus will feature new games like Mycopunk and classic titles such as Mega Man X: Command Mission.
