Onkyo, a well-known name in audio equipment, has unveiled the Creator GX-AiO, a new line of three wireless all-in-one speakers designed to suit different room sizes and listening needs. The series includes the GX-AiO 50, GX-AiO 100, and GX-AiO 150, each offering a compact yet powerful audio solution. These speakers can be used individually or paired together to enhance sound quality and coverage. Each model features a 2.1 acoustic design, which includes two front speakers and an integrated subwoofer. This setup is powered by a class D amplifier, known for its efficiency, and a proprietary digital signal processor (DSP) to fine-tune the audio output. A rear bass reflex port helps to improve the reproduction of low frequencies, giving the speakers a fuller, richer sound. The GX-AiO 50 is ideal for smaller areas or as a secondary sound system, while the GX-AiO 100 is recommended for medium-sized rooms. The GX-AiO 150 is the top-of-the-line model, offering the most advanced features and sound quality. These speakers are versatile in their placement, allowing users to mount them either horizontally or vertically. They also offer three output levels—Eco for energy efficiency, Max for louder sound, and Standard for balanced performance. While they can be paired in stereo mode to create a wider soundstage, they do not support synchronization across multiple rooms. For wireless playback, the GX-AiO series uses Bluetooth 5.3, which offers improved connectivity and range. Additional connection options include HDMI ARC for compatibility with modern TVs, an optical input, a USB-C port, and a switchable RCA phono/line input for connecting turntables or other audio devices. The speakers can decode high-resolution audio up to 24 bits/48 kHz, ensuring clear and detailed sound. A multifunction dial built into the magnetic fabric grille allows users to control the speakers easily, and LED lighting can be adjusted through the Onkyo Controller app, adding a visual element to the audio experience. The Creator GX-AiO series is currently only available in the United States, with prices of $399 for the GX-AiO 50, $499 for the GX-AiO 100, and $599 for the GX-AiO 150. Onkyo plans to expand availability to other markets in the coming months. This new line reflects the growing demand for flexible, high-quality audio solutions that can integrate seamlessly into modern home environments.
