The Brompton Electric G Line City+ 2027 has been released in Europe, including France, in October 2026. This is an updated version of the Brompton Electric G Line, featuring a U-shaped handlebar for a more upright riding position, a wider and more cushioned saddle, and 20-inch wheels fitted with Continental Contact Urban tires. These changes are intended to enhance comfort and usability for city riders. Priced at 4,299 euros, the City+ model is 300 euros more than the base model and 50 euros more than the "Handlebar Control" version. The City+ variant differs from the "Handlebar Control" model, which previously had the same saddle but used less versatile Schwalbe Big Apple tires. Despite these differences, the City+ retains the same frame, folding mechanism, and e-Motiq electric assistance system as the original model. The e-Motiq system includes a 40 Nm rear motor, a 4-speed Microshift derailleur, and a 345 Wh battery that provides a theoretical range of 60 kilometers. This ensures that the City+ maintains the compact and efficient design that the Brompton Electric G Line is known for, while offering improved comfort and performance for urban cycling. The City+ is available in four colors—blue, green, gray, and black—and comes in a single size. This makes it a versatile option for riders looking for a high-quality, electric-assisted folding bicycle that is both functional and stylish.
