The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remaster, released eleven years after the original game, brings updated graphics and gameplay features while still allowing access to cheat codes on PC. These codes let players perform actions like acquiring items, switching characters, summoning non-player characters (NPCs), and altering the game experience in various ways. While the remastered version supports cross-platform modding, cheat codes are currently only available on PC. However, a mod may eventually allow these codes to be used on consoles like the PS5, Xbox Series, or Nintendo Switch 2. To use the cheat codes, players must first enable the Command Console. This involves editing the game's configuration file by adding the line "DBGConsoleOn=true" to the correct file. Once the game is launched, pressing the ² key (on AZERTY keyboards) or the ~ key (on QWERTY keyboards) will open the console, allowing players to enter the codes. Some available cheat codes let players switch to characters like Ciri or Geralt, activate invincibility, restore health, or adjust their level and experience points. Codes such as "setbeard(1)" and "shave" allow players to add or remove Geralt's beard, while "seatattoo(1)" and "seatattoo(0)" can be used to manage tattoos from The Witcher 2. Inventory-related commands like "additem(nom,#)" and "addmoney(#)" let players add items or in-game currency (Crowns), and "removemoney(#)" allows the removal of Crowns. In-game commands include summoning NPCs, killing all enemies, and altering the weather. Map commands like "gotoNovigrad" and "gotoSkellige" instantly transport players to specific locations, while "ShowAllFT(1)" and "ShowPins(1)" reveal all fast travel points and map icons. For the Gwynt card game, codes such as "secretgwint" start a game immediately, "winGwint(#)" allows players to win with a specified number of strength points, and "addgwintcards" adds cards to the player's deck.
