Event highlights solidarity and sport

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, the commune of Beauvoisin will host a major event centered on sport, conviviality, and solidarity as part of Pink October. The event aims to raise funds for the association "Les Roses du Gard," which supports initiatives related to women's health and cancer awareness.

Initiative led by local delegate

The event was initiated by Anne Villefranche, the delegate to the CCAS of Beauvoisin, and organized in partnership with AS Beauvoisin, the Tennis Club Beauvoisin, La Boule Joyeuse, and Festi'Factory. All participants are united in supporting the actions of the structure created by Hélène Milan, who is a local advocate for women's health.

Diverse sports and social activities

Throughout the day, the sports complex will be animated by various sports and convivial events. A doubles tennis tournament will take place, featuring teams of men, women, and mixed teams. At 11 a.m., a gala football match will be held, with voluntary participation from members of the Amicale des anciens du Nîmes Olympique, including Patrick Cubaynes and Gérard Lanthier, as well as other guests.

Convivial meal and afternoon activities

At 12:30 p.m., a convivial meal will be held at the boule court, by reservation, and animated voluntarily by the Three'Potes. In the afternoon, La Boule Joyeuse will organize a boules competition to continue the spirit of sharing. The organizers have promised many surprises throughout the day, and a photographer will be present to capture moments of encounters, smiles, and solidarity.
