The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless gaming headset is currently available for under 90 euros on Amazon Prime, according to a recent report. This model is described as an improved version of the earlier HyperX Cloud III Wireless, which had some limitations, including the lack of Bluetooth connectivity. The new headset is praised for its balanced audio, detailed and immersive sound quality, and long battery life. Its build is noted as being very durable, which is a key consideration for gamers who use their headsets frequently. Despite these strengths, the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless has a few drawbacks. It lacks low-latency performance, which can be important for competitive gaming, and it does not support Bluetooth simultaneous streaming or wired connectivity. Additionally, the companion app that comes with the headset is limited in terms of customization options, and the physical controls are somewhat basic. These features may be a concern for users who require more advanced settings or flexibility. While the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless is not considered the top-tier gaming headset on the market, it is seen as a notable upgrade from its predecessor. Some analysts believe it could even make more expensive models less necessary for many users. However, the report suggests that adding an active noise cancellation feature would significantly improve the product. This would help users block out background noise, making it more suitable for both gaming and other activities like video calls or watching content in noisy environments. An alternative to the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless is the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed, which is described as a simpler but effective gaming headset. It is praised for its solid build, comfort, battery life, and microphone quality. While it has some minor flaws, they are generally considered less impactful than the shortcomings of the HyperX model. This makes it a viable option for gamers looking for a reliable and well-rounded headset without the more complex features of its competitors.
