Attack near hospital

On Thursday, October 22, shortly after 2 p.m., an 81-year-old woman walking with her husband near the Gui-de-Chauliac Hospital in Montpellier was approached by a man.

Man's alleged action

According to police reports, the man lightly pushed her from behind, claiming he was trying to prevent her from being hit by a vehicle.

Jewelry theft

The woman felt pain in her neck and realized someone was attempting to take her gold chain. She tried to hold onto the jewelry with her hand but was unsuccessful.
