French players get wildcards for Paris Masters

Four French tennis players have received wildcards to enter the main draw of the Rolex Paris Masters 2026, which will be held from 2 to 8 November. The players are Titouan Droguet, Arthur Gea, Quentin Halys, and Kyrian Jacquet, all of whom are currently ranked between 44th and 79th in the world.

Some players return to the tournament

Quentin Halys has previously played in the Paris Masters, appearing in 2022 and 2024. The other three players—Droguet, Gea, and Jacquet—will be making their debut in the main draw of the tournament. This marks a significant opportunity for them to compete at a high level on home soil.

French players compete in qualifiers

In addition to the main draw, four other French players—Felix Balshaw, Benjamin Bonzi, Hugo Gaston, and Moïse Kouame—have been invited to participate in the qualifiers on 31 October and 1 November. Kouame, who is just 17 years old, will have his first chance to compete in the Paris Masters 1000 event.

Returning players aim for success

Hugo Gaston hopes to return to the main draw after reaching the quarterfinals in 2021, while Benjamin Bonzi previously made it to the second round in 2020. These players are looking to build on their past performances and potentially advance further in the tournament.

French players qualify through rankings

The French team in the main draw also includes Arthur Fils, Ugo Humbert, and Arthur Rinderknech, who have secured their spots based on their current world rankings. These players are expected to contribute significantly to France’s presence in the tournament.

Wheelchair tennis player gets wildcard

On the wheelchair tennis circuit, Guilhem Laget, ranked 30th in the world, has received a wildcard for the WC500 tournament, which will run from 6 to 8 November. Laget was granted the invitation after participating in a special event designed to determine who would receive the wildcard entry.
