Chery France has partnered with Valeo Tech Academy to develop a training program for dealers of the Chery, Omoda, and Jaecoo brands. The initiative focuses on improving the skills of technicians in hybrid engine technologies, which are becoming increasingly common in modern vehicles. This training is essential for dealers before they can open new sales points, ensuring that post-sales services meet high standards. Marlène Carrias-Iked, general director of Valeo Tech Academy and vice president of strategic marketing and digital at Valeo Service, emphasized in a press release that the partnership aligns with the academy's mission to support the automotive industry through education and skill development. This training agreement is one of four key elements in Chery France's post-sales strategy. The other components include a local logistics system with a spare parts distribution center, a 7-year and 150,000 km warranty, and Allianz Partners roadside assistance. Lionel French-Keogh, operational director of the Chery France group, explained that a car manufacturer's reputation is often judged by its ability to provide reliable service in the seventh year of a vehicle's life. To ensure quality, the company established its spare parts center and trained its service workshops before delivering the first vehicles to customers. As of October 12, 2026—the day the Paris Motor Show opens—Chery France operates 114 sales and post-sales locations for the Omoda and Jaecoo brands, as well as 67 Chery sites. This expansion reflects the company's growing presence in the French market. The Chery brand itself has been available for purchase since September 1st, marking the beginning of its official launch in the country. With this infrastructure in place, Chery France aims to provide customers with a comprehensive experience, from purchasing a vehicle to receiving ongoing support and maintenance.
