Nadia Manteau's entrepreneurial journey

Nadia Manteau founded her company in early 2026. She is a member of PLAMFE Mayotte and wants to join the "Women and Resilience" 2027-2028 program to gain support, develop her business, and enhance her entrepreneurial skills.

Her focus on human beings

Nadia's work centers on human beings. She supports people in their search for answers and helps them move forward in their personal journeys. She shares her experiences and the reasons that led her to start her own business.

Her background in Mayotte

Nadia arrived in Mayotte in 2018 and worked with youth for six years in a CCAS. She initially worked as a temporary employee in the public sector before becoming a civil servant. She experienced a burn-out due to balancing work, children, and other responsibilities.

Her personal development

After her burn-out, she decided to restart her studies and wanted to do something else while remaining in support. She also undertook personal development, which helped her understand herself better. She now works with training organizations and employers on stress management.

Her decision to start her own business

Nadia decided to create her own business after her studies because she no longer found meaning in her previous work. She wanted to give her life a new meaning and transform her experiences into a force to support others.

Her approach to supporting others

Nadia supports people in finding meaning in their lives by helping them discover answers to their blocks. She uses coaching and support to lead them toward autonomy and self-understanding. She believes people hold their own answers, which may be buried or blocked by social pressure or childhood experiences.

Her tools and training

Nadia uses various tools such as visualization, strategic numerology, laughter yoga, and somatic approaches. She obtained her coaching certification and has trained in Nonviolent Communication, NLP, and public speaking. She is currently training in somatic approaches, focusing on listening to the body.

Her company and philosophy

Nadia's company is called Manteauring, derived from her family name. She sees mentoring as a supportive presence that helps people breathe, refocus, and move forward. All the tools and exercises she uses are based on her personal experiences and journey.

Her connection to PLAMFE Mayotte

Nadia learned about PLAMFE Mayotte through Chantal, who introduced her to the association. She met with the president and attended their monthly meetings. She found the association's mission aligned with her goals and joined in March of the previous year.

Her goals with PLAMFE Mayotte

Nadia plans to apply for the "Women and Resilience" 2027-2028 program, which will begin after the current one ends in June 2027. She hopes to benefit from the association's support to develop her projects and adapt international experiences to Mayotte.

Her focus on relationships

PLAMFE Mayotte's workshops help people understand their relationships better. They explore how family history and social influences shape expectations. The goal is to build more conscious and respectful relationships by expressing needs and listening to others.

Her views on stress and support

Nadia has learned to manage stress through her own exercises and does not expect PLAMFE to reassure her. She hopes to benefit from the association's support when researching funding, developing projects, or implementing them in the future.

Her love for human beings

Nadia has a deep love for human beings, driven by curiosity about others' thoughts, ways of living, and perspectives. She arrived in Mayotte with openness and has learned a great deal about human relationships and herself over the years.

Her growth in Mayotte

Mayotte has strengthened her love for human beings. She believes the island pressed a button that opened a door to deeper understanding. She remains curious about others but in a non-intrusive way.
