Airseekers, a company specializing in smart gardening technology, is launching a new line of robotic lawn mowers with advanced features aimed at improving both mobility and soil health. Among these is the ARANIX model, previously known as the TRON ULTRA, a high-end product designed for challenging landscapes. This robot stands out with a unique design that includes four driven and four steered wheels, each controlled by an independent motor. This allows for full omnidirectional movement, including lateral shifts and half-turns in place without skidding. It can navigate slopes as steep as 40 degrees and clear obstacles up to 70 mm in height while maintaining a stable cutting deck. The ARANIX model uses a sophisticated navigation system that combines 360-degree LiDAR (a sensor that uses laser light to measure distances), Vision SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping using visual data), and Network RTK (Real-Time Kinematic GPS) to achieve centimeter-level precision. It boasts a 95% obstacle recognition rate, ensuring it can avoid obstacles effectively. For cutting, it features the FlowCut 2.0 system, which uses a double disc with 18 blades to suck, cut, and spray grass in one pass. An articulated edge-cutting arm helps it follow the contours of the terrain near walls and shrubs. The robot has a removable battery that allows it to mow up to 1,000 square meters per charge, with a capacity to handle up to 2,000 square meters. The Airseekers TRON model is designed for large estates and includes a 300° panoramic vision system with five cameras, providing an extended field of view with no blind spots. It uses FlowCut technology, with blades spinning at 3,000 revolutions per minute to create an X-shaped vortex that straightens and finely pulverizes grass. This mulch is then reinjected into the lawn as natural fertilizer, improving soil water retention by 25%. The TRON model uses nRTK navigation and automatic mapping, which can be set up through a mobile app in just a few minutes. The entry-level TRON SE model retains the core mechanical design and mulching system of the TRON but is tailored for standard-sized gardens. It features a 140° Universe View system that combines a wide-angle front camera with nRTK positioning, allowing for precise movement without the need for external beacons or antennas. Its AI-based obstacle detection system can recognize over 150 types of objects, including pets, toys, and garden furniture. In addition to robotic lawnmowers, Airseekers is expanding into smart irrigation with a prototype connected sprinkler. This device includes a cylindrical turret with an adjustable spray head and five different nozzles, allowing it to customize water jet type, range, and rainfall based on the garden’s specific needs. This design aims to optimize water use and ensure even coverage. The Airseekers TRON ARANIX model is currently being demonstrated at IFA 2026, though final pricing and delivery dates are still pending. The TRON and TRON SE models are already available in Europe, priced at 1,999 euros and 1,399 euros, respectively.
