Puppies found in a cardboard box

Rescuers were contacted by a person who discovered 11 puppies in a cardboard box near a forest. The exact conditions in which the puppies were abandoned are unknown, but it was clear they required assistance.

Puppies are too young to be separated

The first step was to take them to a veterinarian to check their health and estimate their age. According to the examinations, the puppies are approximately 3 weeks and a half old. At this age, they are too young to be separated from their mother, and the mother dog needs her puppies.

Puppies will be placed in foster care

The rescuers decided to place the 11 puppies in several foster families, where they can receive the care and love they need. This approach allows the puppies to be nurtured in a safe environment until they are old enough to be adopted permanently.

Puppies resemble previous rescue cases

The rescuers noted that the puppies in the litter strangely resemble Boule and Bill, two puppies previously recovered by the association during the summer. This resemblance has raised suspicions that one or more female dogs might be producing litters in the area.

Association seeks information to prevent more abandonments

The association is calling on people who may have information to contact them, in order to prevent further litters of abandoned puppies. Their goal is to address the root causes of the abandonment and protect future generations of animals.
