Naya, a Saint-Pierre-des-Corps association, collects toys and gifts for children and seniors in priority neighborhoods until December 17, 2026.
Toy drive enters seventh year
The association Naya, located in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, has been organizing a large toy collection for children living in priority neighborhoods of the metropolis for seven years, running from October to December each year.Collection goal and items accepted
This year, the goal is to collect 2,000 toys. In collaboration with Terres du son, the drive will accept toys, books, stuffed animals, and board games for children aged 0 to 14, as well as clothing, decorations, and other items for seniors.Creative gifts for seniors
The Touraine festival notes that a letter or a drawing from a child can also brighten the daily life of a senior. Donors are encouraged to bring wrapping paper, tape, and scissors to properly wrap the gifts.Donation locations and hours
Donations, which must be in good condition, can be made until December 17, 2026. They can be dropped off at the MAME space in Tours from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or at the Naya association offices at 2-4 Allée Robert Couillaud in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
