For the fourth year in a row, the local association **Crêtes et Sentiers** is collaborating with **Octobre Rose**, a campaign promoting awareness about breast cancer, to organize a special hiking event in Bages. The event, known as **Bages en Rose**, will take place on Sunday, October 18, offering hikers of all levels the chance to explore the area while supporting a meaningful cause. Five different trails will be available, with departure times ranging from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Each trail varies in length from 6 to 11.9 kilometers, allowing participants to choose based on their fitness and experience. The longest trail, starting at 8:30 AM, is an 11.9 km loop with a total elevation gain of 105 meters. This route includes notable landmarks such as Torre d'en Sarris, the Còrrec dels Lladres, Mas Llobes, and the Corbosa. Additional trails will depart every fifteen minutes, with options ranging from 10.7 km to 6 km. These trails will take hikers through various parts of the Bages region, including areas like Les Matès, Vulpilleres, Mas Banet, and the Castellàs du Réart. Throughout the event, volunteers from **Crêtes et Sentiers**, easily recognizable by their yellow vests, will accompany the groups and provide assistance as needed. The participation fee is 10 euros per person, which helps support the event's goals and the associated charitable efforts. Those interested in joining can register by contacting **Crêtes et Sentiers** via email at cretesetsentiers66@gmail.com or by phone at 06 07 89 42 46. The **Bages en Rose** event reflects the growing trend of combining outdoor activities with social causes, encouraging community engagement and physical activity. By offering trails of varying difficulty, the organizers aim to make the event accessible to both regular hikers and those new to the activity. This year's edition promises to be a meaningful and enjoyable experience for all participants, fostering a sense of unity and purpose through the shared activity of hiking.
