In recent years, cars have become increasingly technological and connected, offering more screens, security features, and innovations, sometimes to the point of losing customers. These advancements also increase prices, making recent electric cars difficult to access without financial assistance. In contrast, the Savoy highland group Savoy has taken a different route with its brand Kilow, designing a simple electric vehicle with no unnecessary features. This led to the creation of La Bagnole, which was unveiled in 2022. Produced in Cluses, Haute-Savoie, La Bagnole returns to the Paris Motor Show, two years after its official launch there. The show will open to the public on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. For the occasion, the vehicle is full of new features, as stated in an official announcement. Among these, the arrival of 24 new body colors inspired by nature stands out. Unlike a classic car, the color can be chosen at the time of order, but also changed later thanks to an interchangeable body kit. Thus, solid colors, gradients, and even pailletted versions are available for more originality. Kilow has also formed a partnership with Decathlon to design a custom rooftop tent for La Bagnole. The tent is sold for 800 euros. It can be combined with a complete kit priced at 1,590 euros, which includes sleeping bags, two removable seats, a blanket, a gas stove, a 10-liter water reserve, and everything needed for cooking. A new version for professionals is now available. Accessible from age 14 in the 45 km/h version (L6e) with the AM license, La Bagnole is now also aimed at professionals. Kilow is launching a Pro version for them, identifiable by its enclosed cargo bed, customizable in the colors of companies. Kilow has not yet communicated the volume of this cargo bed or its payload capacity. For reference, La Bagnole is available in two versions, in the L6e and L7e categories, with or without a driver's license. With two seats, La Bagnole has a range that can go up to 165 kilometers according to the WMTC cycle. Its maximum speed is displayed at 45 and 80 km/h depending on the variant. It should be noted that it is equipped with two motors installed in the rear wheels, disc brakes, and a steel chassis. The quadricycle is sold from 10,800 euros in the version without a license (L6e, 6 kWh battery, no options). Kilow currently produces 20 units per week and aims to deliver 600 units by the end of the year. Kilow already has 15 dealers in France.
