La Bagnole de Kilow at 2026 Mondial de l'Auto

At the 2026 Mondial de l'Auto, a French manufacturer named La Bagnole de Kilow displayed its 100% electric quadricycles. Based in Cluses, in the Haute-Savoie region, the company introduced a special camping accessory made in partnership with Decathlon.

Kilow Camping roof tent details

The roof tent, named Kilow Camping, was revealed at the Parisian fair and can be purchased either when buying the quadricycle or separately. The tent alone costs 800 euros, while a full camping kit with additional items like a coffee maker and barbecue is priced at 1,590 euros.

Roof bar options and pricing

The tent is attached to roof bars, which are available as an option. Kilow offers the bars with a hard-top for 490 euros or a closed hard-top for 690 euros. Depending on the configuration, the total cost ranges from 1,290 euros to 2,280 euros.

New color range and promotional offer

La Bagnole also unveiled a new range of colors at the Mondial, featuring gradients and mottled patterns across 24 shades. These colors are typically priced at 290 euros or 490 euros but are available free of charge for orders placed during the fair.

Professional version and customization

The company is targeting professionals with a utility version of the quadricycle. This version includes a new closed cargo bed for better organization and security of transported goods. It also offers personalized screen prints with customers' company emblems.

License options and performance

La Bagnole de Kilow is available in two versions: with or without a license. The version with a license (L7e) can reach up to 80 km/h, while the version without a license (L6e) is limited to 45 km/h and requires an AM license for drivers aged 14 and older.

Pricing and competition

The quadricycle starts at 10,800 euros, with the licensed model priced at 13,690 euros. Despite this, the company noted that most sales are of the licensed model, and the brand does not primarily target young buyers who might consider the Citroën Ami, which starts at 8,190 euros.

Customer base and popularity

The customer base is evenly split between individuals and professionals. La Bagnole is most popular in mountainous areas and along the coast, where its practicality for leisure activities and its beach buggy-like appearance are appreciated.

Future plans and safety features

Currently, La Bagnole is a two-seater, but the manufacturer is considering a four-seater model. It also plans to add airbags and ABS braking systems, even though such features are not required by quadricycle regulations.
