Ninja introduces new portable blender

Ninja has launched a new blender model called the BlendBoss, which allows users to mix drinks directly in a portable tasse. The device is designed to offer a convenient option for making blended drinks on the go.

BlendBoss features and design

The blender has a 0.71 L capacity, a 1100 W motor, and is made of plastic. It includes removable blades and is available in six different colors. The tasse has a 710 ml capacity (650 ml usable) and a silicone base for stability.

Tasse design and functionality

The tasse has two covers: one with blades and a button for securing it to the base, and another with a sealed opening for a silicone-tipped straw. This design allows for both blending and drinking directly from the tasse.

Control buttons and technology

The device has four buttons for different functions: Blend iQ for mixing fruits, vegetables, and liquids; Smoothie iQ for frozen fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds; Ice Crush for ice; and Pulse for maximum power. It uses Auto-iQ technology to stop when the mixture is complete.

Device weight and noise level

The blender weighs 571 g with the sealed cover and has a base that adheres to surfaces with suction cups. The noise level was measured at 76 dB (A) at maximum power, which is lower than its predecessor, the Foodi Power Nutri CB100EU, which had 92 dB (A).

Performance and user experience

During testing, the blender produced a smooth, creamy texture with minimal texture, similar to a velouté. However, the Ice Crush function was found to be more suitable for small amounts of ice due to the shape of the container. The design is considered trendy and effective for daily use, though its size and weight may limit its portability.

Price and warranty

The blender is available for 130 € and has a 2-year warranty. It is noted for its ease of use, simple maintenance, and ability to create smooth smoothies with automatic programs.
