Delta Force, a free-to-play tactical shooter, is marking its second anniversary with a new season called Reorientation. This update includes gameplay adjustments, new maps, game modes, and upcoming content. Developed by Team Jade, the game has evolved since its launch on PC two years ago, later expanding to mobile and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The anniversary celebration begins on September 26, offering daily tasks that reward players with up to 3,900 limited-time Delta tickets and collectible items, including a legendary appearance for the AUG rifle called Golden State. Team Jade has also planned additional content, such as birthday rewards, new gameplay experiences, and improvements aimed at enhancing player comfort. A notable new feature will allow players of different skill levels to join the same match for the first time in Delta Force. Starting in early 2027, players will be able to explore Siege: Valkyrie, a new tactical map powered by the Unreal Engine 5 technology. This map is divided by a massive wall, creating two distinct areas. The heart of the city is rich and filled with opulent skyscrapers, though it is also dangerous. In contrast, the city's outskirts are a harsh environment where survivors struggle to find resources among the ruins. Each area has its own set of rules, risks, and rewards. In Siege: Valkyrie, players can experience a new high-stakes mode called Operation, where unpredictability is the norm. The Operation mode will also benefit from Unreal Engine 5 enhancements, as will Warfare mode. The Mog, a map introduced during the Reorientation season, will be the first to use these features. New Warfare maps will be released in November, with more maps and game modes planned for 2027. Another new game mode, Detonation, a bomb defusal mode, will enter beta testing on September 27 for PC and mobile players, with console access coming later in the year. In Detonation, two teams compete in a race to control the battlefield. Attackers must plant a bomb, while defenders must stop them. If the bomb is planted, defenders must defuse it before it detonates. Each round requires strategic decision-making to gain the upper hand. For fans interested in the lore of Delta Force, the first volume of Operator Archives is now available. This series of stories explores the backgrounds of the game's favorite operators and can be accessed through official game channels. Operator Quarters are also planned for 2027, offering players a space to customize, relax, and socialize. The Reorientation season, the first part of Delta Force's second-anniversary celebrations, is now live. It includes comfort improvements to make gameplay smoother, such as a one-click configuration option to prepare for combat faster. The Combat Support Fund, an in-game loan system, allows players to purchase valuable items more efficiently. Other updates aim to make the game more accessible to new players, including a redesigned G.T.I. Field Manual and a revised tutorial. For experienced players, Operation mode has received a major update with the Layali 2.0 map, which includes new exploration areas and even a fishing system that adds a relaxing element to the game. Delta Force is a free-to-play game available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Android, iOS, Google Play, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
