Dreo, a company known for its smart home devices, is unveiling a new line of air purifiers and heating products at IFA 2026, a major international electronics trade show. Among the highlights is the 530S air purifier, designed to efficiently clean the air in both small and large spaces. The device features a 360° air intake and a spiral intake system that minimizes turbulence, allowing for smoother air movement. Air is then expelled through an upper outlet that distributes it evenly in all directions. The 530S uses a three-stage filtration system, including a True HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, a removable pre-filter for dust and hair, and 130 grams of activated carbon to neutralize odors.
The purifier has a powerful airflow of 221 cubic meters per hour, which means it can completely refresh the air in a 19 square meter room nearly five times in an hour. While it can cover a larger area of up to 90 square meters, it would only renew the air once per hour in such a space. The device includes a sensor that continuously monitors PM2.5 particles—tiny airborne particles that can be harmful to health—and adjusts the filtration speed accordingly. A ring light on the purifier changes color to indicate air quality and can also be used as ambient lighting. Users can control the device through the Dreo app, as well as with Amazon Alexa or Google Home, allowing them to set schedules and review air quality data for up to 30 days. The device also uses an algorithm to estimate when filters need replacement based on pollution levels, usage speed, and operating time.
In addition to the 530S, Dreo is launching four more air purifiers: the 539S, 539AS, 338S, and Macro Max S, which will expand the company's product line in Europe. The company is also developing a platform called Air Intelligence, which aims to connect compatible devices to work together in managing indoor air quality, heating, and ventilation. This platform will consider factors like temperature, humidity, air movement, and even the level of activity in a space to optimize comfort and energy efficiency.
Dreo has also introduced two new heater models that will be part of its winter product lineup later this year. The Whole-Room Heater 720S, priced at €119.99, uses AutoShift technology to switch between a 360° circular air distribution and a focused airflow, depending on the need. It has three heating levels, with a maximum power of 2000 W, and features an X-Core heating element. The heater includes ambient lighting that changes color with temperature and an Eco mode that promises up to 40% energy savings. The Convection Heater 711S, priced at €139.99, takes a different approach by using natural convection without a fan, producing no airflow and claiming a noise level of 0 dB. This makes it ideal for quieter environments like bedrooms or offices, though it may take longer to raise the temperature compared to the more ventilated 720S.
