Soundbar model and pricing

The Samsung HW-Q930H soundbar is a mid-range product in Samsung’s soundbar lineup, offering a good balance of performance and affordability. It was initially priced at 899 euros but is now available for less than 550 euros at some retailers, with discounts and promotional codes further reducing the cost.

Design and connectivity features

The soundbar has a modern, angular design that fits well with most home interiors. It includes an HDMI output for eARC compatibility with televisions and an HDMI input for external devices, supporting 4K video at 120 ips. Additional connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, and support for high-resolution audio services.

Speaker configuration and audio performance

The system features a 9.1.4 channel configuration with 17 speakers, including two wireless surround speakers and a compact subwoofer. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS, with upward-facing speakers creating a sense of height and space. The surround speakers enhance immersion, though high volumes can introduce some harshness in the audio.

Software and additional features

The soundbar includes the Samsung Sound app, which offers features like automatic room calibration and improved dialogue clarity. It also supports Q-Symphony technology, allowing the soundbar and Samsung television speakers to work together simultaneously.
