Samsung soundbar gets price cut

The Samsung HW-Q990H soundbar is now available with a 200 euro discount, bringing its price down from 1,490 euros to 1,290 euros at Son-Vidéo using the promo code HW200. The discount is valid until October 30, 2026.

Soundbar’s advanced audio setup

The HW-Q990H features an 11.1.4 channel architecture with a total of 23 drivers, including 15 speakers on the soundbar itself, designed for front channels and lateral and vertical effects. This configuration aims to create a more immersive listening experience.

Multiple connectivity options

The soundbar includes an HDMI eARC port, two HDMI inputs, and an optical digital S/PDIF input for compatibility with older devices. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon compatibility.

Compact subwoofer and surround speakers

The subwoofer is more compact than other models from Samsung but still delivers strong bass performance. Two wireless surround speakers, including a front speaker, a side speaker, and a ceiling-oriented driver for Dolby Atmos effects, complete the system.

Room-adaptive features

The Samsung Sound app allows users to control the system and includes SpaceFit Sound Pro for room acoustic analysis and AI Adaptive Sound mode for automatic adjustment of channel distribution and tonal balance. These features aim to optimize sound quality based on the room's characteristics.

Compatibility with advanced audio formats

The soundbar is compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which are formats designed to create a three-dimensional soundscape. It also supports Q-Symphony technology, which enables the simultaneous operation of Samsung television and soundbar speakers for a more integrated audio experience.
