New Samsung soundbar released

At the beginning of the summer, Samsung released new soundbars, including the Samsung Q-Series HW-Q600H, which is designed to enhance home audio experiences with advanced features.

Features of the HW-Q600H

This model includes Wi-Fi and retains the strengths of the previous generation with Dolby Atmos, an HDMI eARC port, and compatibility with Q-Symphony, a technology that synchronizes the soundbar with the TV’s speakers.

Price and availability

Currently, the Samsung Q-Series HW-Q600H is available for less than 300 euros at Darty, a French electronics retailer, with a listed price of 299.99 euros instead of the original 399.99 euros.

Comparison with previous model

The Samsung Q-Series HW-Q600H is more of an update to the Samsung HW-Q610F. While there are many similarities, the HW-Q600H introduces Wi-Fi connectivity, which was absent in the previous generation.

Wi-Fi and SmartThings compatibility

Thanks to this wireless connection, users can use features offered by SmartThings, such as voice control, allowing for a more integrated smart home experience.

HDMI eARC and Q-Symphony

If you want to connect the soundbar directly to your television, it is possible since an HDMI eARC port is present. The soundbar is also compatible with Q-Symphony technology, enhancing sound reproduction when used with compatible TVs.

Sound specifications

In terms of sound, the Samsung device features nine speakers for a maximum power of 380 W, including a subwoofer, and is compatible with Dolby Atmos to provide a 360° immersive audio experience.

AI features

The AI is responsible for analyzing your room to automatically calibrate the sound. Additionally, the Adaptive Sound feature allows the AI to analyze real-time sounds from the content being viewed, improving audio clarity for different types of media.

Dimensions and placement

The soundbar measures 111 cm in length, 12 cm in depth, and 6 cm in height. Users need to ensure they have enough space for the soundbar and their TV, avoiding obstruction of the TV screen.
