Pézenas becomes an open-air gallery

For ten days, the town of Pézenas will transform into an open-air gallery as part of a festival organized by the Temps d'Expo association in collaboration with the local government. The event invites visitors to explore the city through the lens of photography, offering a fresh perspective on its architecture and culture.

Photographers showcase diverse styles

This year, 30 photographers—selected from over 145 applicants—will display their work in 13 different locations, both inside and outside. The festival features a wide range of styles, including documentary photography, contemporary art, and pieces with poetic or social commentary, reflecting the diversity of the medium.

Trinley Paris honored as guest of honor

Photographer Trinley Paris will be the guest of honor at this year’s festival, marking its anniversary edition. She will present two complementary series focused on humanity at the Hotel Flottes de Sébasan. Paris, who will be awarded the title of Portraitiste de France in 2025 and European Photographer in 2026, will meet the public during the opening of her exhibition on Saturday, October 24 at 6:30 pm.

Event includes a photography conference and shared meal

The evening will feature a conference on finding and developing one’s photographic style, a topic of interest to both beginners and experienced photographers. A shared buffet will also be available, offering attendees a chance to connect and discuss photography over food.

Photography's 200-year history celebrated

The festival will also commemorate the 200th anniversary of photography on Jean-Jaurès street. An exhibition will trace the major milestones of the medium’s evolution, from its early days to modern digital advancements, highlighting how it has shaped the way people see and understand the world.
