Nantes Atlantique airport expands its winter routes with five new direct flights to Brussels, Morocco, Egypt, and Cape Verde, boosting regional connectivity.
New routes launched from Nantes
Nantes Atlantique airport is expanding its autumn-winter flight program with five new direct connections to Brussels, Essaouira, Cairo, Sao Vicente, and Luxor, according to multiple reports. These new routes, operated by easyJet and Transavia, will begin from October 26 to October 31, 2026, with one to two weekly flights depending on the destination.EasyJet opens Nantes-Brussels route
The first connection, Nantes-Brussels, is offered by easyJet starting October 26, with two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. The route serves Brussels Airport, also known as Brussels-Zaventem. This schedule allows for stays from Monday to Friday or extended getaways from Friday to Monday, though it does not provide daily service for business travelers.EasyJet adds Nantes-Essaouira
Since October 27, easyJet also serves Essaouira on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This route completes Nantes' offer to Morocco and is part of the airline's winter program from France. Nantes-Brussels and Nantes-Essaouira were among the nine new routes announced in April for the winter of 2026.Egyptian routes from Nantes
Egypt benefits from two distinct openings, with Transavia launching Nantes-Cairo on October 28, with a weekly flight on Wednesdays. EasyJet will launch Nantes-Luxor on October 31, with a flight every Saturday. These routes provide direct access to both the Egyptian capital and Luxor, a key entry point to the historical sites of the Nile Valley.Cape Verde connection added
In Cape Verde, Transavia inaugurated a weekly connection to Sao Vicente on October 30, operated every Friday. This makes Sao Vicente the third Cape Verde island accessible from Nantes, joining existing services to Sal and Boa Vista. These airports are part of the VINCI Airports network, which took over the operation of the seven Cape Verde airports in July 2023.Airport director highlights benefits
Guillaume Dubois, director of Nantes Atlantique, said the new routes should facilitate travel from the Grand West and to the Nantes region. He noted that these openings strengthen connectivity and reflect the confidence of easyJet and Transavia in the Nantes area.
