Amazon has started offering discounts on its own devices in anticipation of the Prime Flash Sales scheduled for October 6 and 7. These sales, which are exclusive to Prime members, have not yet confirmed whether the devices will be cheaper than they are now. The price reductions include a range of products such as Kindle e-readers, Fire TV keys, Echo Show screens, and Ring and Blink cameras and doorbells. Some of the devices currently on sale include the Kindle Colorsoft 16 Go at 164.99 euros instead of 299.99 euros, the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft 64 Go at 489.99 euros instead of 699.99 euros, the Fire TV Stick HD at 25.99 euros instead of 64.99 euros, and the Blink Outdoor 4, 4 cameras + doorbell at 84.99 euros instead of 344.98 euros. The Echo Dot, which features a 4.4 cm speaker, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Alexa as the voice assistant, is available for 29.99 euros instead of 89.99 euros on Amazon. Some of the discounted devices have prices that are lower than their previous lowest prices recorded by camelcamelcamel, a price tracking website. However, the percentage discounts for bundles should be interpreted carefully, as the reference price includes the sum of each device’s individual cost. For example, the Blink Outdoor 4 + Mini 2K+ bundle shows an 80% discount, but it only costs 5 euros more than the Blink Mini 2K+ sold alone at 19.99 euros. While some devices have seen price reductions, others have experienced increases. For example, the 2024 Kindle Scribe 64 Go has risen in price to 309.99 euros from 259.99 euros during the French Week. The Prime Flash Sales on October 6 and 7 are still exclusive to Prime members. According to one report, the 2026 Prime Flash Sales are also set for October 6 and 7, 2026, with the event lasting two days and remaining reserved for Prime members.
