HRV Concept uses heart rate variability to detect stress and fatigue early, helping athletes and professionals optimize their health.
HRV Concept's Heart Rate Monitoring System
HRV Concept, a company co-founded by Margaux and her father Jean-Louis Bourgon, showcased its heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring system at the Micronora fair in Besançon. The system measures the time intervals between heartbeats, which can reveal the balance between the body's activating and restorative nervous system functions. How the System Works
The HRV Concept device requires a morning test where a person wears a heart rate belt connected to a mobile app. The test involves five minutes lying down and five minutes standing up, with the data collected and analyzed by two analysts, Sylvain and Jérome, who then provide personalized reports and recommendations.Expanding Beyond Athletes
Initially created for athletes, including national and international-level competitors, HRV Concept is now targeting corporate environments. Margaux explains that managers and executives face similar stressors to athletes, and the system can help detect psychosocial risks and prevent burnout in the workplace.Subscription and Personalization
The follow-up period with HRV Concept lasts between 3 and 6 months, starting at 250€ per month. The first month is dedicated to creating a personal profile, as each person’s nervous system is unique. Subsequent months focus on implementing recommendations and regularly checking their effectiveness through tests.Collaborations and Future Goals
HRV Concept works with a network of professionals, including physiotherapists, psychologists, and nutritionists, to provide specialized guidance. Margaux uses the system to manage her chronic illnesses and adjust her schedule. The company, active for three years, aims to make the device accessible to a broader audience, including students and the elderly, through partnerships with gerontology departments.
