Camden launches new strategy

Camden, an independent creative agency with operations in six cities across four continents, has introduced "Come Closer," a new global positioning strategy. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between brands and their audiences by redefining how creative work is developed and delivered.

Three core commitments

The strategy is built around three main commitments. The first, "Closer to your audience," involves deep community engagement through immersion, interviews, and social listening to better inform creative output. This approach seeks to ensure that brand messaging resonates more authentically with target demographics.

Collaboration with advertisers

The second commitment, "Closer to you," focuses on direct collaboration with advertisers. It emphasizes prototyping and co-creation of campaigns, allowing for more tailored and effective marketing strategies. This part of the strategy aims to foster stronger, more transparent relationships between the agency and its clients.

Long-term support for brands

The third commitment, "Closer to your ambition," involves providing long-term support for brands beyond the initial campaign launch. This includes ongoing work on measurement, optimization, and strategic development to ensure sustained success and alignment with brand goals.

Leadership perspective

Mathieu Bédard, CEO and co-founder of Camden, described "Come Closer" as an effort to reduce the distance between leadership, clients, and teams. He emphasized the goal of functioning as a single, unified entity to deliver more cohesive and impactful creative solutions.
