Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 12 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 on September 9. The Series 12 is designed for daily use, while the Ultra 4 is tailored for athletes participating in long-duration physical activities. This new generation of the Apple Watch focuses heavily on health monitoring and artificial intelligence features, which are reflected in its technical capabilities. While some features like ECG (electrocardiogram), sleep apnea detection, and arterial blood pressure alerts were already present on the Series 11, the Series 12 is highlighted for its performance in everyday situations. It is currently available with a 50 euro discount. The Apple Watch Series 12 features a large 46 mm case and a screen that can reach up to 2000 nits of brightness, making it highly visible in sunlight. It can charge to 80 percent in about thirty minutes. The price listed on the Boulanger product sheet is 499 euros for the 46 mm model, which drops to 449 euros once in the cart. To unlock this 50 euro discount, users must create a free Club Boulanger account. The 46 mm model is the largest in the Series 12 range, with a black aluminum case and a thickness of 9.7 mm. The screen has a resolution of 416 x 496 pixels and adjusts brightness, dropping to 1 nit at night to prevent the flashlight effect on the wrist. However, the 46 mm model may appear bulky on a slim wrist, and a 42 mm version is also available. The discounted model comes with a silicone band in size S/M, while the M/L version remains at 499 euros. Users are advised to check their wrist size before ordering. The Apple Watch Series 12 is water-resistant up to 50 meters and certified IP6X against dust, making it suitable for swimming and hiking. Inside, the S11 chip runs watchOS, and the watch includes multiple sensors for health monitoring, such as ECG, oximeter, temperature sensor, fall detection, and sleep tracking with sleep apnea detection. However, the watch requires daily recharging due to its 24-hour battery life. Fast charging helps, allowing it to reach 80 percent in about thirty minutes. The GPS version does not include a cellular connection and works only with an iPhone (iPhone 11 or newer, under iOS 27). Android users are not supported by this model. Issues with random reboots that affected the initial weeks of the Series 12 have reportedly been resolved with an update.
