New fiber Internet service launched

Bouygues Telecom's B&YOU brand has introduced a new fiber Internet service called Pure fiber, priced at 24.99 euros per month without long-term commitment. The service is designed for households that already have their own methods for watching TV and primarily use mobile phones for calls.

No bundled services required

The Pure fiber package does not include television or fixed telephone service, allowing users to continue using their existing streaming apps on connected TVs or TV boxes like Apple TV, Google TV Streamer, and Nvidia Shield TV. Major TV channels also offer their own apps for live broadcasts.

High-speed connectivity and modern equipment

The service offers theoretical maximum download speeds of up to 2 Gb/s and upload speeds of 900 Mb/s. It includes a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 box, the latest standard for consumer use, which promises lower latency and better data management across devices.

Performance depends on conditions

Actual speeds depend on factors like eligibility, equipment, and how the connection is set up. The effectiveness of the wireless signal also depends on the home's layout, wall thickness, and the distance from the box. For larger homes or multi-floor buildings, a Wi-Fi 7 repeater is available as an optional add-on.

Upgraded option for higher bandwidth

For households needing more bandwidth, B&YOU offers Pure fiber Plus for 27.99 euros per month, which can reach up to 8 Gb/s in eligible areas and includes a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 box. The base Pure fiber subscription remains at 24.99 euros per month even after the first twelve months.

Installation and support details

Installation and delivery of the box to a relay point are free. Bouygues Telecom also offers reimbursement for the 48 euros installation fee and up to 100 euros for ending an old provider's contract, provided customers request number portability using their RIO code. Support is available through the app and customer service by phone during the first two months.
